TSUNAMI WARNING CANCELLED FOR GUAM
Tsunami no longer a threat for the Island
As of 10:12 a.m. (ChST), the Tsunami Warning issued for Guam by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has been cancelled. Although a tsunami is no longer anticipated to reach the island, officials are still advising residents to remain vigilant and to exercise caution while in Guam’s waters.
The High Surf Advisory issued by the National Weather Serivce (NWS) for all north and east facing beaches and reefs remain in effect until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 2nd.
The closure of all public beaches and parks has been lifted.
